A power bank is an absolute necessity these days. I am finding all kinds of uses for these beyond just charging devices. I even used these to power lamps and things during a power outage, to power items like miniature drills and nail tools like UV lamps and electric files. So the more, the merrier, and the bigger, the better. That's why I love this one. If I had any criticisms of this one, it's that it's not also mag-safe, so you have to carry around a cable when you're using it for your phone. It's also pretty heavy, and it takes a pretty long time to charge up to full, but, hey, it's taking in a lot of power, so you have to expect that. You can probably charge an iPhone 8 times with this. Or two iphones four times when one's partner inevitably forgets to bring their own charger. Still, that's an awful lot--it'll keep you off grid for several days.
There's not much to say. It's a nice and compact portable, rechargeable battery pack, just like many others. Hopefully this one lasts a long time and doesn't fail us when we really need it!
I bought this for my daughter who travels alot in her new job, and she always has to have her laptop and phone with her. This DOES work great, it charged her MacBook AND her Android phone with BOTH bring at less than 20%. While it did NOT charge both to 100%, she was able to get her phone to nearly 65% and her laptop to nearly 50%. I would say this would be a better suited charger for one OR the other. But not both simultaneously. Not if you want them both fully charged. But it IS a better charger than others I have and have used, so it's definitely worth the money. Add to that, it's also smaller than most portable chargers so that in itself, is a PLUS in my book.
I like the form factor and digital screen on this rechargeable battery bank. It is stylish, small enough that it fits in your pocket (though a bit on the heavier side) it feels like premium plastic and features a pretty good variety of charge connections. A button on the side of the battery provides read-out from the screen, as well as 'waking up' the functions if it has failed to detect a draw.. which is something that can occasionally happen when I use it to power musical instruments like synthesizers that have their own internal batteries.Charge time is fairly quick, I usually plug it into my USB-C phone charger and leave it for an hour or two. Capacity is OK but feels like it doesn't last quite as long as my other similarly rated batteries. This one is a bit easier to travel with and charges quickly, so it will take the place of the others with regularity.
It's one of the smallest and heaviest powerbanks I've used. The only downside is that the markings on the ports are in a very fine print. Difficult for aging eyes to read. When you do get to read the fine writing you see that the USB-C in/out port has a 65W charge capablility. The other USB-C and the USB-A together have a smaller charge limit, but I was still able to achieve super fast charging from BOTH of the USB-C ports concurrently. Very impressive.Hint: The USB-C port furthest from the USB-A is the IN/OUT; i.e. used to input power to the device from the mains. I used a marking pen to highlight this as the charging / in port. Could use a little work in the labelling of the ports.Highly recommended.
